Are my files uploaded to a server?

No. 7minti runs entirely in your browser. Your MP4 never leaves your device unless you copy the exported MP3 yourself.

What file formats does 7minti support?

Input: MP4, M4A, and M4V. Output: MP3 at 320 kbps stereo or 192 kbps mono, matching the source channel layout.

Can I trim audio before converting to MP3?

Yes. Select a queued file, set in and out points on the waveform, then convert only that time range.

Is there a file size limit?

Yes. Each file can be up to 5 GB. Very large files may require a desktop browser with enough RAM.

Will the MP3 sound exactly like the MP4?

MP3 is lossy, so it is not bit-identical. 7minti avoids loudness compression and passes decoded audio through to keep voice and music close to the source.
